Artist Biography
Alyssa McDonald (b. 1993) is a lifelong Connecticut resident. She is currently a first-year MFA candidate studying web and interactive media design in the Digital Media & Design department at the University of Connecticut. She is also a Graduate Research Assistant for Greenhouse Studios. Alyssa’s work and research focus on UX/UI design and women’s breast health.
Artist Statement
Alyssa is currently finishing up the "research" phase of her thesis project. Her goal is to create a mobile app prototype for women struggling with breast health. This semester she focused on market research and networking.
